Week 29

We are still working on becoming bee experts in preparation for our bee expo on April 30th.  This student was super proud of his "honeycomb jacket!"  We even introduced a model bee to it on Friday! 

We enjoyed using our "bee knowledge" to play a fun game of "BEEngo" this week:

While students were selecting books this week for independent reading time, I was very excited to see these two students recommend books to one another.  "This one is really funny..." " I liked this one but it was really long..."  I am so proud of these 5 and 6 year olds who are truly growing into readers!
