Book Character Day!

Friday, October 26th will be our school's annual book character day.  On this day, all students may dress as their favorite book character and bring the book along with them.  We will try to read all books throughout the day.

That afternoon, at 2:00, we will have our class party.  I will need several parents to volunteer to help with the various stations at the party.  If you are able to help out, please send me an email.

We will also need several supplies for the party.  If you are able, please choose 1 or 2 items that you can send in before Friday.  As you let me know what items you are willing to bring, I will mark them off of this list.  Thank you for helping to make this a fun book character day!!

* 1 package fudge-striped cookies (chocolate covered bottom, stripes on top)
* 1 tub chocolate frosting
* I bag Hershey's kisses
* Popsicle sticks
* 1 very large bag of buttered popcorn (from Farm Fresh)
* 2 bags of candy corn
* 1 bag/box of clear plastic gloves
* Celery, washed, cut into 4"-5" strips ( enough to make 38 strips)
* 1 large can of spray cheese
* 1 large box of raisins
* 1 bag of extra large marshmallows
* 1 bag of thin pretzel sticks
* 2 boxes of juice boxes - any kind will work
* Large sturdy plates (not paper) foam or plastic (enough for 19 students)
* 2 lbs of grapes, washed and de-stemmed
