We had another great week in Room 105! We continued our zoology unit by learning some more about birds and about reptiles this week. Here are some budding zoologists "researching" by finding pictures of reptiles:
In small groups some of us are learning Power Words (words that we memorize by sight). Here are some students trying to write the word "this" from memory:
In math we continued to focus on the math vocabulary: "more, fewer, same." We made sure that we understood what these words meant and could use them in context.
Looking forward to next week...
We will be focused on the theme: Thanksgiving. Our reading, math and social studies activities will revolve around learning about the first Thanksgiving and how we celebrate Thanksgiving today.
