What a busy week we had! As things continue to get busier I am still amazed by the learning these kiddos are doing!
Here are some of the students playing memory with Power Words:
Our APEX Fun Run fundraiser began this week. The pep rally was LOTS of fun!
The stundets are also very much enjoying the daily lessons by the APEX team. So far we have learned about the first 3 letters: L-learn E-engage and G-give.
We got to see a play in our cafetorium this week about bucket filling. The BFF (Bucket Filling Fairy) was a real hit!
On Thursday we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday by having green eggs and ham for lunch!
Our grade level dressed up to represent his book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by wearing red shirts and blue jeans. We had to take this cute picture by the Dr. Seuss artwork in the hall!
We finished our reading and science lab unit based on the ocean ecosystem this week. The students really enjoyed exploring the ocean animals and then drawing an ecosystem for them to live in.
Looking forward to next week...
In language arts/science research lab, we will be exploring the desert ecosystem.
In math, we will continue studying the different coins. The students must recognize them and know their worth.
