Sorting animals by amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds:And learning to draw frogs:
In math we continued our study of shapes. I challenged the students to find different ways to make shapes using their math tubs. They are so smart! Look what they came up with:
In reading we have really enjoyed this learning game called "build the tower." We pick a card and if we can read the sight word we get to keep the block. When the game is over it is fun to see how many words we read!
Next week will be Gingerbread/ Holiday week. Our learning will center around these topics. We will read lots of different gingerbread books. We will learn about some different December holidays (Christmas, Kwanzaa and Hannukah), and we will finish things off on Friday with Polar Express Day! Have a great week!
