This week was perfect for getting back into the routine of things!
We love show and tell in our classroom. The student of the day gets some public speaking practice by talking about the special thing they have brought in. The other students get practice showing respect while others are talking as well as getting to ask some questions afterwards.
We also completed our Zoology unit this week. We distributed animals based on their characteristics onto posters labeled: mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds.
And then we split into groups who made our own posters to display our knowledge:
