Week 19

Whisper Phones have added a bit of novelty to our daily independent read time.  Students can hear themselves say the words while drowning out the noise in the room.  It's a little easier to concentrate, plus they're kind of fun! 

We have finished our zoology unit and are now becoming "ecologists" by studying different ecosystems and the living and non-living things that live there.  Each group had a stack of books to look through and read about their ecosystem.  Then they shared with the class some things they had learned.





And...just for fun....we like to do brain breaks throughout the day to get our wiggles out and help us refocus.  One of their favorites is the KidzBop dancers on GoNoodle.  Here is our class dancing to one of their videos:
