Week 25

This week we became entomologists (bug scientists)!  We learned what a "WOW" fact is: something that is true, that we read in a non-fiction book, that makes us say "WOW!"  We even have a WOW signal....we make "W's" with three fingers and our mouth is the O.  See the young man showing off his WOW signal:


We split into groups and read books about different bugs.  Then, we shared our WOW facts with one another.

I can't wait to see the learning I see next week as we continue reading, writing and learning about bugs.

In math, we will continue our study of fair/equal shares and fractions.
