The young entomologists are taking their job seriously. They've been searching for bugs on the playground each day. This week we learned more about ants and a dirt area by the building held some possibilities for ant colonies.
On Friday, we launched our "Whats the Buzz on Bees?" project by having a a local beekeeper come in to talk to our classes about the importance of honeybees and give some more information about them. She also brought some really neat artifacts for us to look at.

It is the end of the 3rd nine weeks. We will be reviewing and doing some spring math activities.
In reading/science we will be diving in to our "What's the Buzz on Bees?" project. This week we will be reading, writing and researching about a bee's body parts.
