Week 16 and Back to School!!

We will be returning to school soon after our long Christmas break.  We had so much fun on the last day of school before break.  Here is just one highlight:

In unit study we will be learning about Winter and SNOW!!

In language arts, we will be focusing on the letter Hh.  We will learn the sight words: but, home, he, it.  We will read the Mrs. McNosh books and other similar books.  We will also continue to practice making predictions about what we are reading. 

In math, we will be concentrating on the "teen numbers"  (11-15).  We will also continue to work on numeracy and number sense in our small groups. 

I look forward to seeing all my bright eyed, bushy tailed students tomorrow morning!!
