We had a busy last week before spring break. We were finishing up testing for math and reading as well as science. We also had to get ready for our spring party and egg hunt! Here are some photos from the week:
Thank you to everyone who helped out! Whether it was sending in eggs and supplies or joining us for the egg hunt or activities. I appreciate you!
Looking forward to next week:
In unit study we will be learning about recycling and taking care of the environment. This will prepare us to learn about Earth Day which is on April 22.
In language arts, we will be reading the classic story: Corduroy. We will also read other Corduroy books as we summarize. We will focus on the letter Ee. We will learn the sight words: then, when, we.
In math, we will be building a foundation for addition and subtraction. Although we may not use those words and write number sentences (3+3=6) for another week or so, we will be learning how to put groups together and add to the groups to form a new number.
This is the first week of our last 9 weeks! I can't believe it!
