Week 6

We had some special visitors this week from the fire department!  We learned about fire safety, what to do in an emergency and how firefighters use their various tools.
 
 
 

In language arts this week we read the Llama Llama books by Anna Dewdney.  Each day we compared and contrasted the books to see how they were alike and different.

In math this week we completed our unit on patterns.  We are pattern experts now!

In unit study this week we completed our five senses unit.  

Looking forward to next week...

In language arts we will be reading the Bear books by Karma Wilson.  We will continue to practice comparing and contrasting.  Our PALS testing begins this week as well.

In math, we will be focusing on numbers.  We will make sure we can read, write and represent numbers.  

In unit study, we will be learning about positional words.
