Week Seven

 We had the Carrollton Fire Department come visit this week.  We learned a lot about fire safety, what to do if there is a fire and what firemen do to stay safe.  

A highlight of the morning was seeing the fireman climb the TALL ladder.  

 Read for the Record was also this week.  We listened to the story "Quackers" about a cat who thinks he is a duck along with thousands of other students in the world.  We made these fun duck hats to celebrate!

 We watched the NED show on Friday afternoon.  NED taught us to never give up! 

Next week we will begin our study of zoology.  We will learn about different types of animals through reading and science research.  In math, we will continue to study numbers.
