Week Eight

 We have been listening to Dr. Jean's "The Numeral Song" which teaches us the correct way to write numerals this week.  Practicing our number formation is so much more fun when we get to use our white boards and dry-erase markers!

 When we finish, we switch boards with a neighbor and choose which number we have done the best job writing.

We also became zoologists this week as we learned all about the difference between living and non-living.  Then, we became experts on wild and domestic animals, zoo animals and farm animals.  

We used our knowledge to make animals from play dough:

Next week we will review what we've learned so far about numbers.  We will also continue our study of zoology by learning about pets.  We will read and write about animals all week!
