Week 34

Our ABC countdown is lots of fun!

Here are some girls with Crazy hair for C day.

Game day was also a lot of fun:

In math this week, we also learned a lot about subtraction.  Here we are playing a fun subtraction game called "Squish."  We make 10 balls of playdough, roll the dice and squish that many of the balls to see how many are left:

 In unit study we continued to learn about animals and their life cycles.

In language arts, we focused on the short vowel sounds.  We read books about houses and question books and practiced our questioning skills.

In math, we will continue to focus on subtraction.

In unit study we will begin to learn about different types of animals (mammals, reptiles, etc.)

In language arts we will focus on consonants.  We will read books about machines and transportation.  We will also continue to practice questioning.
