Week 19

This week was short, but busy!

In language arts/ science research we began our ecology unit.  We learned that ecologists study the environment and different habitats.  We began by reviewing what living things are and the difference between plants and animals.  Next, we began to study our first ecosystem, the savanna.

In small groups, some of us had lots of fun playing alphabet go fish!

In math, we learned about temperature, and reviewed the difference between hot and cold.

Looking forward to next week...

In language arts/ science research, we will continue to study savannas.

In math, we will learn about volume and weight and compare two objects to tell which is heavier and which is lighter.
