We enjoyed watching the Hugs and Kisses play on Monday...
Another day, Mrs. Lenz's first grade class came to read us a book about American symbols. We had to listen carefully, answer questions and then give our signature.
We thought this was pretty neat!
In unit study we learned about animals that hatch from eggs. We had a pre-egg hunt to discover some of those animals:
And on Friday, we had our "real" egg hunt. Although the weather didn't cooperate, we used a classroom that wasn't in use and had just as much fun!
Looking forward to next week....
In unit study, we will be learning about our environment and how we can help it by reducing, reusing and recycling.
In math, we will continue to practice recognizing and counting coins.
In language arts, we will focus on the letter Xx. We will be reading books about bears (fiction and non-fiction). Our sight words are: when, what, there, they.
Have a great week!
